Intellijel’s Ambient Modular Patch: Morphing Textures with Atlantix, Metropolix & Co.

Intellijel’s latest YouTube walkthrough is a deep dive into the possibilities of an ambient modular patch. With a rig centred around the Atlantix and Metropolix, the video explores how to wring evolving textures and lush soundscapes from a carefully constructed signal chain. There’s a strong focus on distributing pitch, gates and CV using Shifty, creative sequencing via Metropolix’s mod lanes, and layering in live grains and momentary effects for subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) sonic movement. If your modular leanings edge toward the atmospheric, this one’s a masterclass in patch choreography.

Intellijel Atlantix: Drum Synthesis Without the Hype

Intellijel’s Atlantix module is pitched as a complete synthesizer voice, but in this official walkthrough, the focus shifts to its percussive prowess. The video, delivered in Intellijel’s trademark hands-on style, demonstrates how Atlantix can cover the full drum kit spectrum—from kicks to claps—without relying on external processing. What you hear is what you get: raw, unvarnished analogue drum tones, with only the occasional shimmer of Sealegs delay and reverb. For those curious about squeezing maximum utility from a single module, this is a practical, patch-oriented showcase that hints at even deeper rhythmic rabbit holes to come.

Intellijel Atlantix: Envelope & VCA Section – A Patchable Powerhouse for Modular Sound Shaping

Intellijel’s Atlantix module fuses envelope generation and voltage controlled amplification into a single, cleverly integrated Eurorack section. In this official walkthrough, the Intellijel team dives into how the envelope and VCA are normalled for instant patching, yet remain flexible enough for adventurous rerouting and external sources. Expect a practical, patch-focused demo that highlights the module’s speed ranges, drive modes, and modulation options—all with the brand’s signature clarity. If you’re after streamlined sound sculpting without sacrificing modular freedom, this guide is a must-watch.

Intellijel Atlantix: A Patchable Powerhouse Evolves

Intellijel returns with the Atlantix, a Eurorack synth voice that channels the spirit of the Atlantis and the Roland SH-101, but with a modern, patch-hungry twist. In this official walkthrough, the Canadian modular stalwarts show off a module that’s ready to drop into any rack and get you from zero to bassline in seconds—yet it’s bristling with patch points and modulation tricks for the more adventurous. With the ATLX Expander in tow, the Atlantix promises both instant gratification and deep sonic exploration, all wrapped up in Intellijel’s typically practical, hands-on style. Let’s see what this new analog voice brings to
